I was born in Germany in 1960 and spent my youth surrounded by animals and books. I studied physics and languages in Heidelberg and worked at a translation agency. In 1997 I became a fulltime writer. I live in a beautiful village with my family and a friendly cat.

I write in German and English - and also bilingual books for Langenscheidt, a big German publisher. These books are a huge success in Germany.
